Impact Designs has per August 1st 2022 hired Marie Visti Hansen as Project Manager for RefIPro. Marie holds a Diploma in Business Management from Copenhagen Business School and a Master in Economic Growth and Poverty Reduction from the Centre of African Studies at Copenhagen University.
Marie is specialized in private sector development and investment and has more than 20 years of experience managing large multi-stakeholder projects, including in Uganda. From 2002 to 2010 she headed The Danish Chamber of Commerce International Trade Programme with funding from Danida and from 2008 to 2011 she was a member of the Danida board.
Marie has previously lived in Uganda in 2016 and again in 2018-19 where she worked for the EU Delegation. Marie is based in Copenhagen, and will work partly from Copenhagen and partly from the Impact Designs office in Aarhus, as well as carrying out frequent visits to partners in Uganda.
